Lake Boat Usage

Lake PLAY & Contest

Everyone!

I am elated to announce the addition of our very own community paddle boat! The blue paddle boat (see photo below) is
courtesy of Gabe Winfrey himself! Lake Oswego replaced some of their paddle boats and Gabe was able
to obtain one for us at no cost! If you see Gabe please tell him "Thank you so much Gabe!!"

The paddle boat is parked next to the aluminum boat near the entrance to the trail along the dam. We
have also placed six life jackets : 2 adults and 4 children in a black and yellow container (see photo below)
underneath the aluminum boat. Please make sure anyone who uses the boats on the lake are using life
jackets.
Residents are more than welcome to use the boat(s) and enjoy the lake. Please make sure you clean the
boat(s) when finished and put the life jackets away after use.

MOST IMPORTANT! Please DO NOT go onto either island, as we currently have active traps in place and we do not want anyone injured.

CONTEST:
We are collecting ideas to name our new Blue Paddle Boat, & the best name receives a $25 gift card to Redland Cafe! (courtesy of Mark Snow)

Enjoying the Lake was Clarence Hitchman's main goal when he built Bullfrog Park in 1958 and we are lucky to carry his Legacy!
