The Lake Usage Committee met on October 23, 2019 and made the following recommendations to the Board. When the Board met February 10, 2020, we hoped we would not have to adopt rules and felt an enforcement of Lake Usage would not be necessary. However, with this severe influx of nonresident traffic and abusive lake usage we have voted to adopt the following rules:
The HOA has a strong fiscal commitment and we are hyper-focused on improving water quality, removing noxious plants, conserving habitats, bank restoration, repairing common ground areas, enhancing curbside appeal and maintaining a Land Ethic. As the water continues to sparkle, and the lake becomes more inviting, these repeat issues are a huge liability and threaten the health of the lake. Please understand the board does not enjoy policing lake traffic and enforcing rules but it is apparent a change is emergent.
