We have an exciting update we wanted to share about our #1 community asset – the Lake. Based on the Lake and Landscape Committee’s recommendation, the Board of Directors recently approved the hiring of a consultant to actively manage the lake on an ongoing basis.
The consultant’s name is Gabe Winfrey (see picture below), who also happens to be the Operations Manager for Lake Oswego. He has managed the Lake Infrastructure Operations and Maintenance including aeration, herbicide and alum treatments, and dam operation for the past ten years. We hope to have him on-board for many years to come. Gabe lives in Milwaukee with his wife and two-year-old daughter and loves to stay active and outdoors.
A few of the benefits hiring Gabe will be:
Priorities include appearance, environment, water quality and long-term sustainability. The cost is already a part of the current 2019 budget, and based on the 2017 Lake Management Plan combined with a recent onsite update, we feel it is our community’s best interest to implement a solid plan for the long-term success of the lake.
Gabe will be sending out required notifications to all homeowners regarding each herbicide usage, pertinent Lake information and all updates via the HOA website.
Gabe drives a Silver quad cab Dodge truck, if you see him feel free to stop, say hi and introduce yourself!
